 Additions to Savage Team |

We have been trying to recruit for Savage since we first picked up the game, and up until now have been unsuccessful in doing so. All of our players were brought in from other games we had played with them and we've learned how to play Savage together. Still we've been lacking enough people to be as active as we wanted, and there were obvious gaps in our roster.
A few days ago, the guys in Abuse approached us about a possible merger to bring Abuse's active Savage players to Affliction. These are for the most part all players we have played Q3 and RTCW with in the past. After a couple days of discussing things over, both sides have decided to go ahead with it and now I get the honor of welcoming Cujo, Mayhem, and Recoil to our team.
Prior to all this I had been in talks with SIN about a possible merger which fell short and did not happen. One of the players we were most interested in was their comm, Paci, who impressed everyone in the recent Savage All Stars game. As I was finishing up talks with the Abusers about the merger, Paci messaged me and let me know he was leaving SIN. We jumped at that opportunity and took him in to fill our Commander void. We've played on pubs with him before all of this and it's always a pleasure, really looking forward to playing matches with Paci on the controls.
We also recently picked up xzist who we've been friends with for some time from playing with him in UT2003 and Q3 CPMA. Coming from our ET division, ttocs has also started to play Savage.
Overall, things are looking up for us in Savage and we hope to be able to get in some good games real soon. A last shout out to all of our new Affliction friends, great to have you guys on board. |
